Health Education England and Public Health England commissioned Hyperfine Media to create a course aimed at raising awareness of suicide. The goal of the course was to empower people to intervene when they had concerns that someone might be at risk of suicide, and to signpost appropriate support.
Over 12 months we conducted 25 research interviews, scripted and filmed four short narrative stories featuring 12 actors and several locations, and built an online platform that contained interactive elements where the viewer could influence the video outcome. The course has subsequently been adopted by dozens of organisations including Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service.
