Project Description
We developed this online resource to introduce and promote the Public Health Practitioner Graduate Trainee programme – an exciting opportunity to give people the best possible start in their career in public health. The resource includes material on what a career in public health involves, what you can expect from the programme, who is eligible and how to apply. We interviewed people at different stages of their public health career and included short video clips from these interviews; we also produced a new animation introducing the scheme and its benefits. Finally, we included a link to other useful tools and resources. This standalone platform is built using software that is both responsive (so it resizes according to your browser window) and adaptive (so it displays correctly on different devices). The final resource was very well received by the regional HEE team who are using it to help people kickstart their careers in public health. The complete resource can be accessed here.
