We’re looking for someone to join our small but growing core team to help produce videos across a range of styles and sectors. Experience of self-shooting and editing would be a bonus, but the main skills we’re after are the ability to oversee filming and editing, working closely with clients, partners and freelancers to deliver videos on budget and to deadline.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to help us grow the company and explore new client opportunities. The right candidate will already have production or project management experience in a video production, journalism, PR, marketing or digital media role, and must be passionate about video work.
Core skills/ experience required for the role:
Experience with overseeing or producing videos (ideally for the corporate market) such as: customer testimonials, case studies, event videos, presentations, training videos, animated ‘explainer’ videos, software tutorials.
Experience dealing directly with clients – discussing project requirements, drafting project proposals, responding to queries and feedback, and dealing with clients during location shoots
Comfortable writing draft scripts/ copy for video projects or similar
Researching ideas and suggesting creative treatments for videos or similar
Experience working with a small team (2-3 people) during video shoots – helping to direct camera crew to ensure shot lists are covered and conducting interviews as required
Basic editing skills in Final Cut, Avid or Adobe Premiere
Self-shooting experience on DSLR cameras or similar
Familiarity with other tools in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, primarily After Effects
Full clean driving license
Salary circa 25K depending on skills and experience. 3-month initial contract with possibility to extend by mutual agreement.
